**About the job**:
We’re looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist as a new team member of our supply chain team. You will take charge of incoming and outgoing shipments including label creation, packing, pick up, customs clearance, receiving and minor inspection

This position is fully **on-site **in our Mississauga office.

**About you**:

You have a successful track record of coordinating the logistics of goods and materials by scheduling shipments, selecting carriers, and arranging smooth deliveries for both Canadian and international destinations.

**What you'll do**
- Coordinate the logistics of goods and materials, including scheduling shipments, selecting carriers, and arranging delivery for domestic and international destinations.
- Working closely with different departments to improve inter-departmental cooperation and effectiveness.
- Track shipments and address any issues or delays that arise during transit.
- Assist in coordinating logistics for off-site demonstrations, events, and conferences globally.
- Process all required paperwork and maintain accurate records for reporting and tracking.
- Ensure compliance and procedures with medical devices regulations and standards governing transportation and logistics.
- Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and any necessary documentation to ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and item lists are accurate and complete.
- Submit RFQ's and liaise with various shipping carriers (including DHL, FedEX, or Canada Post) to schedule pick-ups.
- Receive incoming shipments of materials and products, verifying their accuracy against packing lists, purchase orders, and other relevant documents.
- Effectively prioritize and oversee order processing to guarantee timely fulfillment, precise picking, packing, and shipping.
- Monitor inventory of shipping materials and supplies; prepare purchase requisition for supplies required.

**Required Skills**:

- 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or warehouse operations, ideally in a medical device manufacturing company.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven skills in coordinating goods transportation, including scheduling shipments, selecting carriers, and arranging deliveries.
- Proficient in logistics software for shipment tracking and inventory management.
- Negotiation expertise in securing cost-effective transportation rates.
- Experience in receiving, inspecting, packing, and shipping materials.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs.

**Nice to have**
- Medical device shipping experience operating under a Quality Management System (ISO13485).
- Forklift or reach truck licences.
- Experience with creating CERS export declaration for outgoing shipments.
