**Responsibilities**:

- Represent clients in the insurance claims process by investigating, analyzing, negotiating and settling property claims on behalf of policy holders
- Interpret policy conditions and coverage for policy holders
- Conduct investigations to determine the extent of damages and losses, consulting with contractors and vendors and thoroughly documenting each claim file
- Work with insurance companies to negotiate settlement agreements including the preparation and submission of documentation to support claims
- Handle field tasks on behalf of telephone/desktop adjusters
- Provide superior quality customer service to external and internal customers, representing the company professionally and respectfully as a team player
- Keep up-to-date with changes to insurance laws and regulations, including appraisal and investigation
- Perform duties assigned in compliance with established work standards, policies and procedures
- Use required software for documentation including ClaimWizard, Docusign and Microsoft Office.

**Qualifications**
- University or college diploma or equivalent business experience
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a Property Adjuster in Ontario
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to manage a portfolio claims at once
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations in Ontario
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

This is a remote position and requires travel on short notice around Ontario. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and a reliable vehicle. Gas and mileage will be covered.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
