Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our custom fabrication shop and welding. This is a hands-on role that requires strong knowledge of shear and brake operation, rolling of material, laser cutting and welding of aluminum, stainless and steel and leadership abilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the work of Laser cutting, material prep and welding in the shop
- Provide guidance and support to staff, including training on new procedures or equipment
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards
- Monitor productivity and efficiency, implementing process improvements as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Shop foreman or similar role in a custom fabrication shop
- Strong knowledge of shears, brakes, rollers and all welding processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
