**Job Description**:
**POSITION PURPOSE**

Reporting to the Supervisor, Contract Administration is responsible for coordinating financial and statistical data related to conventional performance based operating contracts; developing and maintaining spreadsheets for the implementation of benchmarks and tracking of key performance indicators; compiling and analyzing data relating to on time performance, contractual compliance, verification of contractor billings and providing assistance in preparation of data for the annual budget.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Monitors and recommends changes/modifications to the performance based service contracts for the supply of conventional service based on contractor compliance.
- Develops\maintains spreadsheets to implement benchmarks and track Key operating performance indicators.
- Initiates and develops proposals based on data and makes recommendations with respect to operating procedures and/or changes.
- Compiles and analyzes data relative to contract compliance.
- Prepares and tracks monthly accruals for revenues and calendarization for revenues and expenditures.
- Updates and maintains the performance measurement system to ensure contractor compliance.
- Provides appropriate data and reports to assist management in the development of annual service plans, associated operating and capital budgets and in the assignment of new vehicle allocations in accordance with contractor performance.
- Assists Transit Scheduling, Control Centre, Dispatch and Safety and Training sections within Operations and Contracted Service providers, as required.
- Responds to service incident investigations with customer, operator, employee, contracted services, etc., as required.

Performs other duties as assigned, in accordance with Branch and Department objectives.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Successful completion of a Post-Secondary Certificate/Diploma (one (1) year or more) in Business Administration field or related program or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated skills establishing, maintaining and producing complex spreadsheets including current experience with spreadsheet design, report revision and generation.
- Demonstrated experience working with persons with disabilities.
- Familiarity with appropriate Standards, Acts and Regulations.
- Knowledge of computerized transit scheduling software.
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including communication, innovation, teamwork and collaboration, and personal ownership.
- Sound judgement plus well developed interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills to analyze and recommend new or changes to various operating procedures.
- Ability to interpret and process contracts, including performance based contracts
- Ability to work outside regular business hours as required.
