Sinai Health is looking for a client focused Junior Analyst who is aligned with our purpose to join our Finance team.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Accounts Payable, the Junior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Finance team with our Finance integration and transformation roadmap. The Junior Analyst will support Finance Leadership and our Senior Analysts with report generation, variance analysis, and the identification and implementation of process enhancements. The Junior Analyst will also actively participate in various Finance projects by conducting research and analysis and support the preparation of associated reports, summaries and presentation materials.

**In this role you will**:

- Work with Manager, Accounts Payable and Director, Business Operations to drive transformation initiatives and digitization and automation work stream related activities from assessment to delivery
- Respond to multiple priorities and requirements from Finance Leadership and Senior Analysts, in support of:

- Month-end accounts analysis and reconciliation
- Expense management and process improvement initiatives
- Payables analytics and system enhancement activities
- Perform other accounting or accounts payable related projects as assigned
- Develop strong working relationships throughout the Finance team and the broader organization to understand and analyze internal and external drivers impacting Finance deliverables
- Identify, document and communicate opportunities for automation through collaboration with accounts payable staff, Information Management System department, external consultants and independent research
- Assist Manager in the development, planning and execution of presentation meetings and roadshows to assemble opportunities and report on deliveries including creation/distribution of presentation material and follow up on assigned action items.
- Generate and maintain systems that enable the effective and efficient flow of work for the portfolio
- Complete other duties related to the position as assigned
- Job Requirements**Job Requirements**:
Mandatory
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree preferably in business or accounting from an accredited educational institution
- Applicants with proven equivalent recent and related training and experience may be considered
- Experience working with accounting software

Preferred
- Experience working with SAP

Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to operate state-of-the-art computer technology and an ability to adapt to new systems and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) with intermediate knowledge of and Excel
- Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast
- paced, high volume environment
- Self-starter who sets priorities and drives deliverables to execution with mínimal supervision; able to anticipate and proactively respond to requirements
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, under tight processing deadlines
- Excellent customer service record with proven success working as a part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in communicating with all levels of management
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
