What You’ll Be Doing:
The Junior Financial Analyst will assist the Treasury and Budget Manager along with the Finance Manager in the Finance Department with the following duties:
Assist in various Project work:
- Assist with Finance department projects as directed by the Finance Manager- Gain an understanding of the current workflow processes for project specific areas- Work with the Team Lead to develop the action plan for implementation- Work closely with project team and participate in the project activities- Document and communicate findings

Support Financial Planning and Analysis activities:
- Assist in the preparation of various weekly and monthly management reports- Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for meetings.- Provide support on ad-hoc analysis request.

Support Accounting Activities:
- Assist with the month-end close process through helping with the preparation of journal entries and reconciliation tasks- Assist team members with monthly KPI gathering and reporting- Maintain and update department procedures and SOP’s

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting- 1-2 years of work experience; Progress towards CPA designation.- Intermedia to advance knowledge in Accounting- Prior experience with the financial service industry would be an asset.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Word and PowerPoint.- Well organized and strong attention to detail- Strong analytical skills.- Self-motivated, ability to learn quickly and to work under tight deadlines.- Excellent teamwork
