**Junior Financial Analyst (6-Month Contract Role)**:
GroupM Canada (Toronto Office) is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a progressive minded individual who has strong attention to detail, loves working in a fast paced environment and is driven by learning and forward thinking.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with trading payables, accounting items, month end and projects as required
- Assist in examining and clearing up legacy account reconciliations for various trading accounts on the balance sheet.
- Review historical contracts and help reconcile deferred income account.
- Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis to ensure accounts payable are current, address any gaps required to achieve current status.
- Assist in project to migrate accounts payable from the trading finance team over to Accounts Payable team, exhibiting critical thinking to help test and create appropriate process to move this work over, oversight and direction will be provided.
- Ad hoc similar projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education (or in progress) from a business background.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Analytical with an ability to problem solve independently
- Strong organizational skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Enthusiastic self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and to take on challenges.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet schedules and deadliness.
