Teach Me My Way Services is a multi-disciplinary children’s centre supporting children with autism and their families. The team consists of the owner/director, Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, and Therapy Assistants (Communicative Disorders Assistants and Instructor Therapists). We are also able to provide our families the opportunity for Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology consults.
The **Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)**will work closely with the entire team to provide a supportive learning environment for children/young adults from the ages of 2 years to 25 years with complex needs related to a diagnosis of ASD. The therapist will be expected to not only travel between locations (Hamilton & Mississauga), but also to and from the learner's homes for programming.
**Main Duties and Skills**
- Responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, monitoring programing and outcomes, and supervising Instructor Therapists and Student Therapists to ensure the fidelity of the programming.
- Review the learners’ programming/outcomes on a bi-weekly basis at a minimum and problem-solve when aims are not being met
- Ensure that all documentation meets the requirements of their Regulatory / Governing Body (BACB, CASLPO, etc.) using the secure online charting platform Precision.
**Additional requirements**
- Attending team meetings and trainings along with consulting with other professionals such as teachers, doctors, and other community support teams
- Have a strong background working as a team member. The BCBA will be expected to collaborate with other professionals, such as Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, to generate individualized programs
- **Must** provide an up-to-date Criminal Records check with Vulnerable Persons within 30 days of being offered the position
- **Must **provide proof of BACB certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification is recommended.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
**Salary**: $60.00-$100.00 per hour
