Penalta Group Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Tenant Coordinator** to serve as the on-site liaison for our 444 Logan Avenue project.

This is a contract role supporting a high-impact, long-term retrofit of a 21-storey residential building in downtown Toronto, home to a community of seniors and individuals living in affordable housing, some of whom may experience cognitive impairments, mobility challenges, or other accessibility needs. The project will be completed while the building remains fully occupied, requiring coordination, empathy, and respect for tenant well-being.

**About the Project**

The building will remain fully occupied during the 20-month construction period, which includes:

- Mechanical upgrades
- Exterior recladding (cladding strip and replacement)
- In-suite renovations
- Common area improvements

The Tenant Coordinator will support smooth communication and coordination between the tenant community, construction team, and external stakeholders—ensuring access, safety, and respect at all times.

- Collaborate with mental health/security staff to manage concerns with empathy and discretion
- Track and follow up on resident issues to ensure closure
- Identify tenants requiring higher levels of support and adjust communication methods accordingly
- Provide compassionate de-escalation and support when construction impacts resident well-being

**Logistics & Coordination**
- Maintain construction access logs, appointment schedules, and resident feedback tracking
- Escalate technical or schedule issues to appropriate project contacts
- Liaise with external organizations (e.g., ERA Architects, WoodGreen Community Services)
- Ensure public safety and clear signage in work zones within the building

**What We’re Looking For**

**Must-Haves**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Confidence managing logistics, schedules, and multiple stakeholder needs

**Nice-to-Haves**:

- Multilingual skills (Cantonese or Mandarin)
- Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)

**This Role Is Right For You If You**:

- Excel at navigating sensitive conversations with professionalism and care
- Take pride in helping people feel seen, supported, and informed
- Are comfortable working on-site in a high-rise building with ongoing construction
