We are seeking the right team member to fill the permanent full-time role of Document Coordinator in our Environmental & Sustainable Development team based out of our Campbell River office.

This position entails a variety or key accountabilities and required skills, such as being a strong writer, formatter, and coordinator, all of which work hone into the key documents within our operations.

As the new Document Coordinator, you will advance the vision and values of Cermaq Canada by coordinating the document control system for optimal efficiency while supporting our shared value of business mindedness and integrity.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders, document sponsors and document owners, to review, revise, approve, and release documents that are part of an integrated management system.
- Understand technical and operational requirements to produce easily understood and visually appealing documents.
- Maintain and seek improvements to document control processes that focus on user-experience, accessibility, and compliance.
- Provide support to document owners for managing periodic reviews.
- Manage relevant records for easy accessibility and retrieval.
- Support audit management with scheduling, gathering of information, and development and submission of corrective actions.
- Support gathering and organizing information that enables our ability to provide high-quality metrics for sustainability reporting.

**Education, experience, and skills**:

- A minimum of 1-2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Strong literacy skills to translate and capture operational requirements into understandable documents.
- Ability to work well with others and build relationships in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong organization and communication skills with a collaborative, systems thinking approach.
- Ability to understand complex and interrelated systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with International Standards Organization (ISO) and Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) standards considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license required.
