**Full-time Position : Friday to Sunday 6am to 6pm**
**General Summary.....**
The main function of the OPS (assist operations) forklift operator will be to be able to move the pallets, help prepare for busy periods, help with functions relating to inventory control and deal with discrepancies.
**This position will be responsible for.....**- Handle and pick products at receiving, dispatch or palletize products, according to operational needs;-
- Place in products in inventory and replenish the picking and reserve areas;- Enter data in the inventory management system as needed;- Safely operate the handling equipment (electric pallet truck, counterbalance forklift and retractable forks).
**You might be a great fit if.**- Probation period successfully completed at FedEx Supply Chain;-
- Excellent performance and safety record in current position (no disciplinary measures and no problem of absenteeism);-
- Ability to work in a team and versatility;-
- Ability to drive safely several types of forklift (including retractable forklifts);-
- Care for quality, precision and safety;-
- Ability to respect procedures and deadlines;-
- Basic computer skills;-
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience. With or without accommodation:
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.- Ability to read, write and interpret information.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.- Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.- Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.- Ability to lift/carry items less than 25 pounds.
