We are presently seeking a Production & material planner to join our team. Your role will consist of preparing manufacturing plans while respecting the availability of materials, capacity of equipment and resources to respect the promised dates to customers. This position will report directly to the Planning & Material Supervisor.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Administer the Backlog and Plan New Orders within material and resource constraints ;
- Review work center capacities with production Supervisors ;
- Execute the schedule to ensure the timely execution of MPS items by working with supervisors ;
- Set priorities based on various specific criteria (resource constraints, capacities, customer needs) ;
- Do Lead Time Analysis studies base on customer RFQs;
- Interface with management and product / project engineers on the status of select projects. (i.e.: project constraints, material shortages, single project and consolidated projects, backlog status and capacity problems);
- Interface with customer service as required conveying project status for customer reviews ;
- Attend management review meetings as required ;
- Coordinate critical activities in order to mitigate production risks ;
- Communicate with sub-contractors to resolve issues: lead time, quantity, quality.
- Review and update replenishment parameters in SAP.
- Perform all other related duties as required.

**Your Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Required**: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Logistics (GOP / GOL), or equivalent, combined with three to five (3 to 5) years of experience in planning. Experience in supply chain management is a major asset. Current APICS, CPIM or PMAC certification and proficiency in SAP are major assets.
