**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Procure materials and supplies in alignment with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the company.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their material needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, utilizing MRP systems to manage stock efficiently.
- Analyze market trends to identify potential sourcing opportunities and cost-saving measures.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new vendors to enhance the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement processes.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement or planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions based on market trends.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
