- What you will be doing
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_
- Maintain consistency and synchronization of customer’s database in the ERP system
- Ensure accurate posting of the service and warehouse credit notes
- Analyze, investigate short payment, deductions and reconciling customer accounts on a regular basis
- Review and respond to customer AR inquiries
- Forecast estimated weekly collection
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and annual adhoc reporting
- Complete month end procedures including preparation of month end files, bank deposit summaries and aged trial balances
- Ensure the Organization’s collection policies and procedures are appropriately and consistently applied
- Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information
- Special projects and other duties as instructed by the Management team
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:_
- Minimum two (2) years of full cycle Accounts Receivable experience
- Post-Secondary Education in accounting or a related field.
- Experience working with an ERP System preferably Sage & ASW.
- Experience with payment deductions/ claims and discounts.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:_
- Eloquence in communication, both verbal and written
- Ability to stay focus on tasks, particularly balancing multiple priorities
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Effective organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to offer proficient solution to problems
