**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install residential solar systems on rooftops according to company standards and client specifications.
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes, as well as Northern Power’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to safely lift, carry, and install solar panels, racking, and other equipment.
- Adhere to and enforce safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar systems as needed.
- Assist electricians with wiring and other electrical work as directed.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering homeowner questions and representing Northern Power in a professional manner.

**Qualifications**:

- **Required -**_
- Ability to travel outside of the Calgary metro (25%) and stay until a project is finished
- Verifiable fall protection training certification.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 60 lbs.), climb ladders, and perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

- Previous experience in solar, roofing, or construction.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Familiarity with solar installation equipment and tools.
- CPR/First Aid certification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
