**Role Summary**:
As a Solar Installer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation of solar power systems for residential and commercial clients. You’ll utilize power tools and hand tools, work at heights, and maintain a focus on safety and quality. This is a hands-on, full-time position that requires travel between locations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install solar panels and related systems with precision, following company and regulatory standards.
- Operate power tools and hand tools effectively for system installation and assembly.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including fall protection, while working at heights.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide solutions to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of solar power systems and installation practices.
- **Hands-On Experience**: Proficiency in using power and hand tools in construction or installation settings.
- **Certifications**:

- Fall Protection Certification (mandatory).
- Solar installation or renewable energy certifications (an asset).
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- **Teamwork and Communication**: Strong ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
- **Industry Awareness**: Understanding of best practices and standards within the solar industry.
