**Topaz Transport Inc.** is a growing transportation and logistics company based in Hammonds Plains, NS. We are currently seeking a **Financial Analyst** to join our team and support our financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze financial data and create financial models to support business decisions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
- Communicate with banks and financial institutions regarding loans, credit lines, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams for accurate data interpretation
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Experience in communicating with financial institutions is an asset
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
