Join our team at Burke Flowers as a Part-Time Driver & Customer Service Assistant We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-oriented individual who loves flowers and enjoys helping others. This position combines delivery driving with customer service and some administrative tasks, perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Driving & Deliveries**:

- Safely and efficiently deliver floral arrangements to customers, ensuring they are in perfect condition.
- Load and unload deliveries with care, making sure flowers are properly arranged and secured.
- Navigate local routes and deliver orders promptly while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery by answering questions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- **Customer Service**:

- Answer phone calls and assist customers with placing orders for flowers, gifts, and arrangements.
- Help customers select the right products based on their needs, offering recommendations and advice.
- Take orders over the phone, in person, and through online platforms, ensuring accuracy.
- Handle any customer complaints or issues with patience and professionalism.
- **Inventory & Administrative Tasks**:

- Assist with inventory management, ensuring that flowers and supplies are stocked and organized.
- Help arrange flowers for delivery, ensuring quality and presentation meet the shop’s high standards.
- Keep track of orders, deliveries, and customer information accurately.
- Assist with general shop duties like cleaning, stocking, and organizing the shop as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Full driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus, especially in retail or floral environments.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry floral arrangements and supplies (up to 40 pounds).
- Basic knowledge of flowers and floral arrangements is helpful but not required; we’ll train you
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle (if using your own).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

- Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
