**Position Title**:Part-Time Professor, Exploring Extended Reality (XR)
**Status**: Part-Time Professor Contract (1-6 hours/week)
**Program/Department**: Media and Communication Studies, University of Guelph-Humber
**Campus/Location**:The University of Guelph-Humber (207 Humber College Blvd, Toronto) is located within the traditional and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit.
**Salary**: Academic start salaries are determined by qualifications and years of related experience.

Course Description for MDST*3360 - New Worlds: Exploring XR:
**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**

**Experience and Skills**
- Proficient in the operation of 360 cameras (GoPro Max, Insta360 Pro 2)
- Ability to translate traditional film or media production concepts to the VR/AR environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with 360 VR video production and post-production workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and MistikaVR for stitching.Knowledge of XR hardware and software, and troubleshooting skills
- 360 ambisonics sound capture (Zoom H3VR) and editing/mixing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Blue Ripple 03A)
- Video codecs and encoding
