A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a QC Lab Technician(Temp) at MKS Atotech, you will partner with Manufacturing and Operations, Sales and Service, Customers, and Various Other Departments to test/analyze samples and calibrate/troubleshoot lab equipment. In this role, you will report to the Quality Control Supervisor.

**Please note** this is a temporary position.

You Will Make an Impact By:

- Perform various laboratory tasks such as preparing chemical solutions, conducting experiments, and operating laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
- Collect, analyze, and troubleshoot experimental data using various techniques and instrumentation. This may involve using software programs to process and interpret results accurately
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results in laboratory notebooks or electronic databases. Ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory and quality standards
- Assist in quality control procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements. This may involve conducting tests on raw materials, intermediates, finished products and recommending action to adjust out of specification products
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements related to chemical handling, storage, and disposal
- Travel Requirements: No travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 0-1 year of related experience
- General knowledge of lab tools such as pipettes, burettes, balances and other various labware
- Working knowledge of analytical instrumentation such as IC, HPLC, UV/VIS, AAS, ICP
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office apps

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP and related software

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Constantly interacts with specialized equipment and machinery for chemical operations
- Attention to safety protocols is paramount to mitigate risks associated with chemical operation
- Noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate
- Occasional exposure to chemicals and fumes may occur; adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory

Compensation:
Salary Pay Range: $$70,000 per year. This range is a reasonable expectation of pay for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience, education, training, operational and business needs and other considerations.
