A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Lab Technician at MKS/Atotech Canada, you will partner with Internal Teams, Sales, Customers, etc. to process and manage lab samples ensuring accurate documentation and timely analysis. In this role, you will report to the Lab Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

- Perform various laboratory tasks such as preparing chemical solutions, and operating laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collect, analyze and troubleshoot data using various techniques and instrumentation.
- Maintain detailed records of testing, procedures and results, ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory and quality standards.
- Assist in quality control testing
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Travel Requirements: No travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

- Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
- Years of job-related work experience
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting or customer service environment.
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Ability to analyze data and report findings accurately
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing procedures

Preferred Skills: (Optional)
- Prior experience working in fast paced lab environment
- Experience with SAP and related software

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

- Frequent standing, walking, and handling of laboratory equipment.
- Occasional lifting of light to moderate weights.
- Primarily laboratory-based with a high degree of concentration required for analytical tasks.

**Compensation**:
Salary Pay Range: $$70,000 per year. This range is a reasonable expectation of pay for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience, education, training, operational and business needs and other considerations.
