Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help my family and provide essential care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting me with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

**Duties**:

- Assist us with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide meal preparation and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support me with dementia care needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for clients
- Accompany us to appointments or outings as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care, dementia care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to individuals in various settings
- Understanding of home care, assisted living, or nursing home environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Must be comfortable with caregiving responsibilities and tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
