The primary role of the Accounts Payable Clerk individual is to oversee vendor accounts. You will be responsible for account maintenance, collection, reconciliation, and other functions related to vendor accounts. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your attention to detail and overall positive presence are at the core of your character and the foundation for supporting the finance team.

**Responsibilities and Key Activities**
- Support Accounts Payable functions and administrative processes
- Reconcile account balances, identifying differences and rectifying variances
- Investigate and generate claims for discrepancies and allowances
- Ability to converse with clients regarding specific business needs
- Understanding rebates taken by primary customers
- Following up with the sales department for any unknown deductions
- Reconcile account balances, identifying differences and rectifying variances
- Maintaining client accounts with monthly reviews and adjustments

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Diploma or certificate in accounting
- Initiative to isolate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Having strong analytical skills
- Advanced level of MS Office 2010 (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Highly organized and able to multitask effectively while working under changing priorities
- Familiarity with an ERP especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV **will be considered an asset**
