The Indigenous Student Recruitment Officer will be a knowledge leader working with members of the Student Enrolment & Registrar Services team to create meaningful experiences for all prospective students while removing barrier for FNMI future and current students.- If you are a confident presenter who possesses significant knowledge related to the diversity of FNMI communities across Western Canada and you value extraordinary student service, then you are exactly who we are looking for If you love the idea of serving students, advancing the philosophy of post-secondary education, and most importantly uLethbridge, then this is the job you have been dreaming about.- Working as part of a dynamic, creative and data driven team you will be challenged to stay abreast of enrolment trends, emerging communication tools as well as helping the University serve our current and future students through exemplary service. As a member of this team you will be tasked with group and individual initiatives. You should be comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences who range in size from 5 to 1000 people and enjoy travelling across Alberta and Canada to represent the University of Lethbridge. You can also expect evening and weekend work in this exciting role.- Reporting to the Manager, National Recruitment, you will help execute the strategic recruitment and enrolment programs at the University by participating in and developing outreach activities designed to enhance the prospective student pool. This will include the development of an outreach plan dedicated to Indigenous learners to create awareness and interest of University of Lethbridge programming across western Canada.- You will have a comprehensive understanding of the issues impacting FNMI learners in their pursuit of Higher Education. You will enjoy building relationships with FNMI communities across Canada and specifically with the Blackfoot Nation.-
