A store/restaurant assistant manager is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, and helping manage staff. Duties include;
- **Staff Supervision and Training**: assist in recruiting, training, and overseeing staff, including servers, cooks, and cashiers. They make sure team members adhere to service standards and provide excellent customer service.
- **Customer Service**: customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure guests have a positive dining experience. They might step in to resolve conflicts or issues that arise during shifts.
- **Inventory Management**: keep track of stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to ensure the restaurant has everything it needs to operate smoothly.
- **Scheduling**: help create work schedules, ensuring the restaurant is appropriately staffed during peak hours while also managing labor costs.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensuring that the restaurant meets health and safety standards, including food safety regulations and cleanliness.

In essence, the assistant manager acts as a support to the restaurant manager, often stepping in when the manager is unavailable and helping to keep everything running efficiently. The role requires leadership, multitasking, and strong customer service skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.30-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
