Lens Shapers Inc. is Canada’s premier full-service optical lab. We are a manufacturer and supplier of ophthalmic lenses. Established in 2008, we provide complete service solutions for opticians, optometrists, and ophthalmologists across the nation.

We are currently hiring experienced **Lab Technicians** (full-time & part-time) in Surfacing, Edging/Finishing, Tinting, and Quality Control departments.

Hours: Mon to Fri: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Part-time hours TBD)

Full-time positions come with extended health benefits including medical and dental.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Surfacing**:

- Operating generator, finishing & polishing
- Deblocking & washing lenses
- Regular maintenance of equipment
- Requires to be on your feet all day

**Edging & Finishing**:

- Edging & mounting lenses into frames
- Lens marking, verification, and blocking
- Frame tracing, small repairs
- Experience in tinting is a plus
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Tinting**:

- Possess excellent skills & experience in lens tints
- Fast, accurate, and consistent with tint colour matching
- Must be attentive to detail

**Quality Control**:

- Job quality inspection including Rx verification, lens optical quality, coating quality, and finishing quality etc.
- Lens picking
- Have 3+ years experience working as a lab technician
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent minimum
- Have good basic math skills
- Be able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Be a team player
