Job Description
- Primary responsibilities (not limited to) are for the first Mile Customer Pickups and linehauls at your home station and assigned provinces - Client to Station, Station to Station and Station to Client moves
- For all tasks listed communication must be sent to all stakeholders and correct departments.
- Primary contact for carriers and drivers - liaison between Intelcom and carriers
- Provide first Mile processes and Middle mile support
- Analyze data to establish sequenced runs to improve utilization of equipment and lower pickup costs.
- Check all avenues of communication for any rush pickups and out of service equipment.
- Book On Demand requests (check time zone).
- Provide update - pickup and delivery ETA to respective stations.
- Coordinate with business development to determine pickup windows based on volume and distribution.
- Analyze data in TMS to ensure accuracy of all entries.
- Update SOP’s to provide instructions on building and monitoring first mile pickups.
- Participate in training of all new and existing linehaul dispatchers.
- Provide ETA’s and live updates to the stations and all parties required.
- Add LH manifest and departure times to TMS orders - Load sheet + ready and departure time provided by operations.
- Audit carrier invoices to ensure that rates in TMS agree with invoices.
- Update SOP’s to provide instructions for building and monitoring 1st mile pickups.
- Verify POD receipts on all loads weekly.

- Monitor and enforce departure / arrival schedules (pickups to station)
- Sourcing +vetting carriers for contingencies and backup
- Carrier relations, onboarding
- Address carrier billing issues - service issues
- Ensure clear communications to all stakeholders of delays or changes
- Amazon RTC monitoring and pick up booking
- Daily hand offs to our team
- Tracking and tracing
- Load recovery
- Assigned projects
