**Social Media Coordinator**
**SUMMARY**
We are looking for a talented social media coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts. A successful Social Media Coordinator will create and maintain an online brand presence across a variety of platforms. This position requires creativity and ingenuity as you will be creating engaging online content across multiple platforms.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintaining a strong online presence for the brand
- Implementing effective online marketing strategies through social media channels
- Defining key performance indicators (KPI) specifically for social media channels
- Measuring social media campaign's success
- Keeping updates on the latest social media technologies and practices
- Communicating with the industry's influencers and experts to create a strong network.
- Determining audience preferences and current market trends
- Communicating with customers and prospects through various online channels
- Creating engaging content using images, text, and videos
- Developing and implementing effective posting schedules.
- Generating awareness for the brand by designing posts to sustain audiences' curiosity.
- Promoting new products using effective ad campaigns
- Creating reports on customer feedback and online reviews
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
- Additional coordinator duties within marketing
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Excellent Teammate
- Knowledge and Experience in Adobe creative suite
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms
- Ability to deliver and create creative content (text, image, and video)
- Strong communication skills to articulate the brands message across various platforms.
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
- Excellent communication skills
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- Business degree / Marketing being an asset, and or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of hockey and current gear
- 12-month contract (temporary work)
- Remote work
**SPECIFIC FOCUS**
- Marketing/Social mind - understands engaging content, values brand, identity, voice, image, brand perception, creative etc.
- Strong content creating skills - specifically video & graphic design.
- Readiness to learn / work hard - get hands ‘dirty’ in all marketing and do lots of different needed tasks.
- Strong Communication/writing skills - can adapt to TRUE’s voice and communicate it in writing.
- Hockey mind - knows the game.
- Preferred proximity to Ottawa
- Experience with Social Platforms / posting etc.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
