**Job Summary**

This is a great opportunity to make the kitchen your own - curating menus with exceptional meats and cheeses, and putting your own twist on accompaniments like hummus, tapenade, roasted nuts, etc. This is not your standard cooking job - no hot ovens or loud hood vents

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food service operations.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency in every dish served.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff in food handling techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create a positive dining experience for guests.
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise during service to maintain smooth operations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and safety regulations.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Creativity in menu planning and food presentation with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
