**Collision Repair Experts** is looking for an Production Manager **:

As the Production Manager of the shop, you will ensure that customer vehicles are repaired to our standards of excellence while accommodating customer needs.

You will also be responsible to oversee and provide leadership to the repair and refinish departments while ensuring production targets are met. The Production Manager will work closely with the Technicians and supervise the overall production work setting goals and priorities.

**A day in the life of a Production Manager at**Collision Repair Experts**:

- Ensure BMS (Business Management System) accurately reflects production on shop floor while updating due out dates on R/O's and add production notes in Vehicle Location.
- Ensure everyone is responsible/respectful with parts, materials, and overall repairs are done correctly the first time, on time (If an ECD for repairs is missed, a valid reason must be documented in BMS).
- Assign hours and allocate repair orders to technicians. Flag labour for technicians before payroll cutoff.
- Assist in trouble shooting problems that arise during the repair process, and or if a technician runs into a dilemma (if supplement damage is found, coordinate with Repair Planner and/or Estimator).
- Ensure proper maintenance is taking place for various shop equipment like diagnostics scanner, paint booth, spot welder, lifts, etc.
- Ensure 100% compliance to the CRE QC process at every stage of production.
- Provide leadership to the production staff.
- Manage production team to achieve targets.
- Take in progress & post repair photos and attach in Mitchell Connect.
- Ensure quality standards are being met to reduce and eliminate re-work and warranty claims.
- Monitor repair orders to maximize efficiency and gross profit.
- Oversee repair orders and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.
- Coordinate and work with CSRs and Appraisal staff.
- Monitor parts usage and report on any materials issues.
- Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies.
- Review completed tasks and sign off on Quality Control form.
- Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Other related tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- Licenced Technician preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of industry experience as a Body Shop Technician preferred.
- Possess a valid drivers' license.
- Proven abilities in automotive body repairs.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
