Maintain a clean and orderly work area and ensure that all safety practices and procedures are

being followed at all times, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (steel

toed boots, safety vest, protective eye/face gear, gloves, etc.) for the task at hand.
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using devices such as

motor analyzers, handheld computers, chassis charts and pressure gauges.
- Inspect various parts of trailers, including electrical systems, landing gear assemblies, trailer

frames and bodies, suspension systems, tires, wheels, hubs and axles, air and auxiliary

systems, braking systems and hydraulic systems and other important parts to ensure they are

in the proper working order.
- Determine a course of action for repairs and create detailed reports to facilitate work scheduling.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders and provide them with an explanation of required work

and an estimation of the cost, when necessary.
- Replace or repair malfunctioning components including parts, valves, bearings and gears as

needed; tighten bolts and screws and reassemble equipment.
- Safely use the appropriate tools for the repair such as welding equipment, hand tools, power

tools, and paint equipment.

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
