**New Programs Analyst/Coordinator - 14-Month Contract**

The New Programs Analys/Coordinator provides on-time delivery for customers, reduces inventory levels and monitor vendor performance and makes improvement. Performance will be measured by revenue reports and on-time delivery reports. Opportunities for advancement and growth could be found in the materials manager.

**What does a New Programs Analyst/Coordinator do?**

  • Lead regular meetings to discuss and resolve new program issues to ensure timely delivery to customer
  • Plan and coordinate new program development activities to ensure timely delivery
  • Action on long lead time (gating items) for improvement
  • Coordinate with management to make critical decisions related to new program development
  • Develop best practices to optimize new program development procedures
  • Identify areas of improvement and concerns and recommend improvements
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow between design, development and production teams
  • Ensure engineering meets target dates for release production in a timely manner.
  • Ensure purchasing has planned and ordered all components.
  • Ensure an appropriate time is scheduled with shops to ensure parts are made within the lead-time. (Includes items not yet designed)
  • Provide project status updates to management on a periodic basis
  • Planning and scheduling of components and products for a multitude of product lines using a computerized MRP system
  • Maintain and control inventory levels.
  • Works with marketing, engineering and production personnel on new programs and orders.
  • Other related duties as required.

**What you bring to the table**

  • Post-secondary education and 2+ years of related experience
  • Strong analytical, technical, negotiating, and influencing skills
  • Strong diplomacy and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written communication skills to prepare research findings, reports, briefing materials, and correspondence

**Desired**

  • Marketing diploma/degree
  • Project Management knowledge and skills to lead training programs
  • Blueprint reading familiarity
  • Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: manufacturing, data analyst, project coordinator, program coordinator, analyst, business analyst _
