**Job Summary**:
The Project Manager at Blue Water Concepts Ltd. is pivotal in managing projects effectively, ensuring the company’s brand promise is upheld. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the owner, design team, estimator, and production team to oversee and drive the successful completion of construction projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the project, including budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a solid grasp of construction processes, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment filled with exciting and diverse opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid BC driver’s license
- Vehicle is required to perform the job (e.g., travelling between job sites, transporting tools/materials, responding to site needs)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience (ideally 5+) in construction project management.
- Proven record of successfully managing projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Experience with budgeting, estimating, and scheduling.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Viewpoint, Buildertrend, or Procore, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Project Plan.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver completed projects by agreed-upon dates.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry-standard quantity surveying techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, OSHA, or LEED).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver budget summaries clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in sales and customer service
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning and Execution**:Manage all aspects of assigned projects using the company CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information flow among all stakeholders. Lead project start-up meetings and coordinate project schedules, resources, and milestones.

**Budget Management**:Maintain and track project budgets bi-weekly, including estimated costs, actual costs, and updates for change orders. Distribute budgets to clients regularly and ensure approval at project milestones. Monitor gross profitability and address cost overruns.

**Scheduling and Coordination**:Create, update, and distribute detailed project schedules in Gantt form, ensuring alignment with all team members, subcontractors, and clients. Conduct weekly Goal Setting and Review (GSR) meetings with site staff to monitor progress.

**Change Management**:Prepare and track RFIs, Change Orders, and directives. Ensure clients understand cost implications and secure approvals before proceeding with changes. Keep project schedules and budgets updated with change-related adjustments.

**Team Leadership and Communication**:Maintain regular communication with Lead Carpenters, Site Supervisors, and site staff to align project goals and expectations. Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment while troubleshooting conflicts or challenges as they arise.

**Client Relations**:Function as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and coordinating walkthroughs or meetings. Ensure all communications are professional and timely, with responses provided within 24 hours.
