**POSITION**:Business Systems Analyst II
**LOCATION**:Toronto, ON
**STATUS**:Contract (12 Months)
**JOB OVERVIEW**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Provide overall business/systems support for Production and User Acceptance Test environments
- Monitor automated morning scheduled task and take timely actions and update business partners on status.
- Ensure continued integrity of existing production systems.
- Ad-hoc reporting for business users
- Investigative support for day-to-day system and business issues
- Daily updates to issue tracking system
- Ensure that newly implemented system features or enhancements meet user needs as documented in specifications
- Quarterly support for billing runs and statement runs
- Interview users at a detailed level and analyze user requirements
- Responsible for researching, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for data conversion and implementation
- Design and create data mapping
- Review and document business processes
- Will function in an agile team environment and may be involved with planning and executing test cases
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- 4 to 6 years related working experience in the Mutual Funds, Financial Services and/or Securities industries
- Completed university degree or college diploma in IT is preferred and/or equivalent applicable IT experience
- Intimate knowledge of RDBMS and T-SQL.
- Working knowledge of SDLC.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment with knowledge of Jira.
- Previous experience in Application Support or Development a must.
- Familiarity with multi-platform environment such as Windows, UNIX/LINUX
- Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
- Strong organizational competences, ability to plan projects and meet deadlines consistently
Understanding of various investment products, market practices, securities operations, compliance and regulatory requirements, industry trends an asset
- Knowledge of CI’s lines of business and products is considered an asset
- Superior time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
