The Role: Hotel Sales Coordinator

This position will help support the Sales Department with administrative tasks related to the successful operation of the department as well as managing specific market segments as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supports the Sales Department through various communications and report generation.
- Generate reports on demand.
- Verify all group resume information at time of distribution for accuracy in a timely manner
- Prepare proposals and contracts for designated market segments and ensure that rooming lists and payment information is taken and processed in a timely manner
- Ensure all VIP’s are flagged appropriately and communicate any special needs to the Front Desk.
- Assist in building and updating groups and rate codes in revenue management systems
- Work with Sales Team as needed to ensure effective and efficient management of group inventory daily - provide direction when needed on cutoff date extensions and additions to inventory.
- Attend department meetings.
- Co-operate and perform other duties and assignments from the Director of Sales and/or Sales Managers as required.
- Process rebates/ commissions paid out to third party organizations
- Assist sales team with preparation for tradeshows through completion of tradeshow materials, sales kits and client gifts

**Requirements**:

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Delphi, OnQ and PEP experience a plus.
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Must possess excellent time management with an ability to multi-task & meet deadlines in a high-pressure work environment.
- Solid work experience in managing effective administrative procedures and programs essential.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in producing professional business documents and communications.
