**Position Summary**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Specialist to join our esteemed team within the cosmetic industry. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with spearheading the conception, development, and execution of innovative cosmetic products that effectively cater to evolving consumer demands. Leveraging your extensive expertise in cosmetic science, market trends, and consumer preferences, you will collaborate closely with multifunctional teams, including Research & Development, Marketing, and Manufacturing.

As the Product Development Specialist, you will assume responsibility for overseeing all facets of product development, meticulously conducting comprehensive market research, formulating prototypes, and refining formulations to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Demonstrating exceptional project management acumen, you will adeptly coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure seamless project execution. Additionally, you will cultivate robust partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and external collaborators, continuously evaluating product performance and refining formulations to drive optimal consumer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**
- Spearhead all stages of product development, from initial concept to final launch, ensuring products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and translate consumer insights into actionable product strategies.
- Formulate product prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and refine formulations to optimize product performance and consumer satisfaction.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure project success.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to source high-quality ingredients and materials, negotiate contracts, and support product development initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on formulations to enhance efficacy, safety, and consumer satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and seek opportunities to leverage new technologies and ingredients to drive product innovation forward.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support to customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in product development within the cosmetic industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cosmetic science, formulation techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Passion for the cosmetic industry and commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative products.
- Proven experience as a Product Development Specialist or similar role in cosmetic industry
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
