Silk & Snow is a Toronto based, digitally native retailer of responsibly made sleep essentials. **The Role**:
The Product Specialist will work closely with the Product/Marketing team and will have an active role in the following tasks:

- Monitoring Silk & Snow and partner websites for accuracy in photos and content
- Reviewing and updating line sheets for accuracy on a regular basis
- Ensuring eCommerce content, products, and links are up to date are working properly
- Ensuring imagery, copy, pricing, placement, cross-sells, and promotions are accurate and compelling
- Collaborating with design and development on product knowledge and relaying information to marketing for creation of sales/marketing tools
- Maintaining current knowledge on the market and industry trends, performing competitor analysis, gathering wholesale and retail feedback
- Assessing MSRP based on target company margin goals
- Analyzing data and making suggestions to improve conversion rates
- Analyzing SKU productivity and profitability
- Monitoring the development status of all projects to ensure timely commercialization and adherence with product roadmap
- Communicating and enforcing Silk & Snow’s product and manufacturing principles, including production, quality, and delivery requirements with all suppliers
- Maintaining knowledge of and ensuring that products and packaging adhere to regulatory requirements
- Liaising with suppliers to communicate product defects and implement product updates
- Liaising with the Product Development team to obtain feedback and provide updates
- Driving product communication with merchandising, sales, and customer experience teams
- Working cross functionally to launch and merchandise products

**Essential skills and requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Retail or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities
- 3-5 years of merchandising/eCommerce buying or product development experience
- Advanced proficiency in using Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency
- Detail oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing and influencing people who are not direct reports across all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to manage, motivate, and influence project progress
- Strong time management skills
- Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on multiple concurrent tight deadlines
- Ability to problem-solve, be forward thinking and anticipate needs
- Passion for brands or products, an asset
