**About the Role**:
AlayaCare is seeking a talented and driven People & Culture Intern to join our team As a People & Culture Intern you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience team to assist with tasks related to recruitment, employee engagement and culture initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of HR and contribute to a growing organization.

**A day in the life**:
**Talent Acquisition Scope**

Assist the recruitment team in various stages of the recruitment process, including:

- Opening job requisition requests in our applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Preparing job postings in accordance with our brand templates
- Sending job descriptions for translation
- Managing the talent acquisition inbox
- Participating in sourcing activities for critical roles
- Conducting phone screening for entry level roles
- Preparing offers
- Completing the onboarding spreadsheet for new external hires

**Employee Experience Scope**

Employee Engagement & Events:

- Assist with formulation, organization and implementation of global company engagement initiatives such as: monthly engagement calendar, departmental quarterly planning sessions and virtual events
- Support with conceptualizing, drafting and revision of internal communications and social media content
- Participate in employer branding initiatives and act as an AlayaCare ambassador at external events
- Contribute to the DEIB Taskforce with programming, communications and administrative support

Onboarding:

- Assist with onboarding logistics such as scheduling first week meetings, communicating with hiring managers and coordinating internal teams
- Send feedback surveys and analyze responses for continuous improvement of the onboarding experience for all new AlayaCarians

Office Coordination:

- Assist with all areas of office management
- Organization of office catering orders and snacks, workspace equipment and staff travel (as needed)

**What you bring to the team**:

- Enrolled or newly graduated from a bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong interest in talent acquisition and employee experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in human resources is an asset but not required
