Matrix is hiring a Key Account Manager for a full-time, permanent role in Calgary, AB.

Reporting directly to the Director, of Business Development the Key Account Manager will be required to oversee sales relationships for the specific regions in the company. The Key Account Manager will find innovative ways to generate business and maintain relationships by participating in industry events and taking out clients. Working closely with Estimating, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for offering insight to the price of each project by analyzing conversations with Project Managers, and previous bid data.

The pay range is 50k-70k/year plus commission.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead generation, discovering new major projects, and extracting contact data to reach out.
- Prepare regional data trends within CRM, reporting to the Director, of Business Development each week.
- Work cohesively with estimating throughout the bid process to ensure bids are submitted in a timely manner and with competitive pricing.
- Schedule Bid Review meetings and assist in the administration of the bid process.
- Maintain Google Drive Organization in the project folder when entering bids.
- Schedule events to participate in, and client lunches to nurture existing relationships.
- Obtain client feedback following bid, award, and project completion.
- Assist with other items as required by Director, Business Development.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience in Construction is an asset.
