With over 50 years of experience in the industry we are a go to service provider for the northern Alberta region. We are looking for an inspired, motivated, and reliable _**Plumbing Project Manager/Estimator **_to help run our growing mechanical division. This position requires the applicant to be a Journeyperson Plumber/Gas fitter with commercial experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedules, coordinates, and offers operational assistance for team members.
- Review work to ensure quality and meet the established standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
- Participate in managing our service department.
- Ensures safety is a priority and adheres to the company’s safety program.
- Specifies and ensures that the parts needed are ordered promptly to guarantee meeting deadlines.
- Communications with vendors and suppliers on warranty problems, product recall reports, and product operating issues.
- Manage project deliveries, billing, scheduling, submittal, and closeout process.
- Coordinate manpower as required with other projects in the company.
- Meets technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary and client service objectives for each project.
- Develop Mechanical/plumbing estimates.
- Act as primary liaison with clients, site superintendents and subtrades.
- Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Visit jobsites to monitor job progress and identify issues and concerns.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be a Journeyperson plumber/gas fitter with commercial experience in all aspect of the plumbing trade.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience of Project Management/Estimating an asset but not required.
- Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems is required.
- Certificate/Designation in Project Management (PMP) would be considered an asset but not required.
- Strong project management skills including an understanding of project management methods and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with project leadership, strategic initiatives, analytics, and process management to drive excellence in project performance.
- Proven skills in establishing and maintaining effective relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to create an environment of accountability by tracking and monitoring performance for following standard processes for projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical and contractual communication, report writing and presentations.
- Ability to recognize future risks and opportunities and proactively suggest adjustments.
- Experience managing and working with external consultants.
- Ability and willingness to delegate and empower others.
- Holds staff and peers accountable for their contributions and impact to culture.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in the context of a respectful, inclusive and service-minded style.
- Ability to understand blue prints.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.

**Education**:

- Journeyperson plumber and gas fitter ticket.

**Compensation**:

- Salary position, compensation is based on experience.

**Salary**: $36.00-$44.00 per hour
