**About Albion Neighbourhood Services**
Albion Neighbourhood Services is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our Board of Directors as Treasurer. This vital role support ANS’ mission by providing financial oversight and guidance to the organization.
Albion Neighbourhood Services (ANS) is a non-profit organization committed to supporting individuals, families, and youth in North Etobicoke. Through various programs and services in Housing, BGC Albion and Access departments, we address community needs, provide advocacy, and create opportunities for empowerment, inclusion, and well-being for the community of Etobicoke.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Provide financial oversight, ensuring the organization’s financial health and sustainability.
- Review and present financial reports, statements, and budgets to the Board.
- Work with the Executive Director and finance staff to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Chair the finance committee.
- Participate in annual audits as needed.
- Provide financial guidance to support the organization's mission and long-term goal.
- Ensure the Board understands financial implications of strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with CRA policies regarding financial reporting, statutory remittances and charitable tax slips.
- Participate in Board meetings and Finance Committee meetings as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**
We are looking for someone with:
✔ A background in finance, accounting, or business administration (CPA designation is an asset but not required).
✔ Experience with non-profit financial management is preferred.
✔ Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management.
✔ Strong integrity, leadership, and commitment to ANS’s mission.
✔ Prior Board or governance experience (preferred but not required).
