**Tridon Communications is currently seeking a Rental Technician to fill an immediate opening based out of our Head Office in Edmonton.**

**Job Summary**:
The Rental Technician is responsible for ensuring that customers receive the required rental equipment that meets their needs. The rentals technician will fulfill rental orders and complete administrative work such as: filing of rental orders, ensuring all customer contracts are current and entered correctly in the system for billing, and maintenance of the customer database. The rentals technician will also ensure that rental equipment is returned as per the contract and any new equipment going out is in clean and good working order.

**What you Bring**:

- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2-5 years of related industry experience
- Experience with inventory systems considered an asset
- Warehouse experience considered an asset
- Administrative experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of the Communications industry and knowledge of products and services offered by Tridon Communications considered an asset
- Knowledge of safety standards related to office, shop and store environments
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to work with multiple programs
- Experience with NetSuite an asset

**What You’ll do**:

- Promote and maintain customer relationships
- Prepare rental quotes and contracts per customer solutions requirements
- Fulfill orders from internal & external customers and dealers, ensuring equipment counts and accessories match the order
- Setting up of contracts with rental customers including preparing paperwork, verifying credit ratings with Accounts Receivable, and allocating suitable equipment to orders
- Work with the Manager to facilitate demand planning and material availability
- Conduct rental equipment inventory cycle counts as required to ensure that what is available to rent matches with what is in rental system
- Ensure effective and efficient movement of rental equipment between rental locations
- Process equipment returns and update contracts accordingly
- Ensure that all rental equipment is clean and in good working order
- Run reports of outstanding orders and equipment, process lost/BER SO’s accordingly
- Ensure that rental department area is kept clean and in order, including any offsite storage facilities
- Other duties as assigned
