**Key Responsibilities**
- Work hands-on with your crew to complete landscape construction projects from start to finish.
- Lead by example, creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist with and guide activities like site grading, paver and retaining wall installation, planting, irrigation, and other construction tasks.
- Support your team with training, instruction, motivation and collaboration.
- Interpret and execute work based on blueprints and site plans.
- Maintain safety practices and support a safe job site for everyone.
- Communicate with project managers and coordinators to keep work on schedule.
- Help track daily job progress using company software.
- Assist with winter services (anti-ice/snow removal) as needed.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience in landscape construction, including hardscape and softscape installation. Irrigation experience is a plus
- Leadership experience or a desire to grow into a leadership role.
- Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and teach—this role is about working _with_ your team, not just directing them.
- Hands-on knowledge of the steps involved in landscape installation (pavers, walls, planting, irrigation, etc.).
- Ability to read and work from blueprints or site plans.
- Confidence in using small machinery and construction tools (skid steer, Walk behinds, mini excavators in a landscape setting)
- Comfortable using basic software tools
- Class 5 driver’s license required.

**Compensation**

$33 -$45 per hour depending on skills and experience.

**Schedule**:

- Regular: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- _Seasonal Hours (May 12 to September 28, 2025)_**: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM**

**Work Location**:
Different Greater Victoria work sites.
