**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading abilities.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and technical skills
- Experience in writing and storytelling.
- Understanding of graphic design principles and use of Adobe Creative suite is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365.
- Previous experience in engineering, architectural, or professional services firms is considered an asset.Bilingual (English and French) is considered an asset.

**REPONSIBILITIES**

As the Regional Marketing Lead for the GTA, reporting to the GTA Managing Principal, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote A49’s design services and enhance brand visibility. Working closely with the Regional Market Sector Leaders and the GTA Managing Principal, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and cultivating strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. You will also play a critical role in driving the firm's growth by leading the development and management of winning proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

**Business Rigour & Financial Accountability**
- Support Market Sector Leaders in revenue development to achieve A49’s financial goals and growth targets _. _
- Maintain soft backlog revenue forecasts to support business development growth as per annual set targets for each market sector.

**Targeted Growth & Brand Enhancement**
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial opportunity identification, assessment and strategy formulation to final submission and presentation, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and firm standards.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activities, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, designers, and project managers, to create compelling marketing materials, presentations, and project case studies highlighting A49’s portfolio and expertise.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture, design, and marketing, and integrate relevant insights into our marketing material/ proposals.

**Employee Engagement & Alignment**
- Demonstrate capacity building, training, and mentorship of marketing support staff.
- Work collaboratively with other regional marketing leads as applicable to build backup for marketing activities regionally and nationally.

**Operational excellence and project quality**
- Conduct reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, adherence to A49 branding guidelines and compliance with client requirements, in all proposals, marketing material and presentations.
