**looking for a Land Development Coordinator**:

through the development process from
inception through to implementation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Vice President, Development,
the Land Development Coordinator will be a
valued member of the Development team at
Dorsay and will work closely with internal and
external consultants to support residential
initiatives across the Dorsay portfolio.
in Civil Engineering with 2 - 4 years of civil
engineering experience in an engineering
consulting firm, a local municipality or with a
land developer and your skills and

**qualifications include**:

- Obtain development approvals

(subdivision, zoning, OPA,
condominium, site plan and building
permits) and assist in any related
legal documentation as necessary.
- Assist with the Clearance of

Conditions of Draft approval including
coordination with consulting team
undertaking detailed engineering
design.
- Managing Letter of Credit securities

and reductions
- Assist in land acquisition due

**diligence**: Complete property
searches by reviewing relevant policy
and guideline documents, surrounding
developments parkland dedications,
development charges, property
assessments, servicing viability,
environmental status, hydrology and
geotechnical reviews etc.
- Project reporting, including

monthly/quarterly review of progress
certificates, invoices, prepare and
update cost estimates, cash flows and
project/construction scheduling.
- Ensure quality, cost and time

effectiveness of all engineering and
construction aspects of servicing and
will deliver project construction on
approved budget and schedule
- Manage Farm Properties in advance

of site servicing.
- Monitor relevant industry issues as

well as project related issues at all
municipal meetings and take actions
on findings.
- Conduct and attend site visits, as

required.
- Stay current on new industry

technologies and trends, residential
market and municipal standards and
liaise with builders, sales
representatives, and construction staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS

**Proficiency in**: Microsoft Office (Excel,
Word and Outlook, MS Project)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe
Illustrator
Excellent oral and written communication
skills.
Strong analytical and project management
skills
Effective organizational and problems
solving skills.
Research and report writing skills
A valid G driver’s license and access to a
vehicle.
