Catering Operations Assistant
Overview:
The main responsibility is to assist in the successful execution of catered events as per the owners' standards. Training will be provided and working directly with the owners will ensure your success.

Catering experience with Food & Beverage knowledge is a must plus professionalism, communication, organization, and reliability. Pleasing customers by providing the best guest experience possible.

**I/ Key Job Tasks of Operations Assistant**

Planning, Packing, & Deliveries
- Accurately read client Contracts.
- Packing and planning for all event aspects, such as buffets, plated menus, and cocktail receptions.
- Serving & Bartending shifts available.
- Drive and deliver orders successfully at multiple events on a daily basis.

**II/ Job Specification of Operations Assistant**

1. A minimum of two years of experience in Catering & Hospitality.

2. Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.

3. Excellent organizational & planning skills.

4. Clean driving record and valid Class 5 driver's license. Must have own vehicle for small day-to-day operations.

5. Clean presentation in appearance & professional attitude towards teamwork and high volume situations.

6. Physical requirements include but are not limited to the ability to stand for long hours, heavy lifting, and equipment set-up and takedown.

7. Pre & Post Event management such as rental return, equipment storage, small wares, glasswares, and disposable supplies are stored and organized correctly.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T2G 2L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Catering & Hospitality: 2 years (required)
