**SUMMARY**:
The Security Operations Coordinator will provide proactive and reactive security expertise. The incumbent will be required to write reports and participate in the investigation of security incidents, as well as respond and dispatch accordingly to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
Job Duties
- Maintain visual and audio of surrounding area with security camera surveillance, monitoring and reporting situations as required
- Answer phones, alarms and dispatch appropriate personnel accordingly to investigate situations
- Dispatch ACE and ATB personnel in response to maintenance, safety, security and customer service issues
- Act as an airport representative to staff, tenants, suppliers, contractors and guests to the airport
- Verify RAIC’s, arrange escorts prior to point of entry to the Restricted Area
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of guests, issue proper escort passes to employees, contractors and visitors while maintaining the security of the premises
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or codes and situations
- Assist police or fire departments in cases of emergency
- Maintain the lost and found items of the terminal
- Refer customer complaints to the appropriate source to ensure proper resolution
- Respond to emergencies as a presence if necessary within and outside the terminal building upon direction from the ACEs or management
- Responsible to open and close the terminal and related areas as instructed based on flight schedule and ATB personnel work hours
- As directed, to conduct patrol(s) throughout the terminal and related areas during operational and non-operational hours
- Assists as needed with the parking facility by responding to parking intercom inquiries, reissuance for lost tickets, processing of manual/credit card parking payments, creating employee parking cards, validation of parking passes for contractors and guests as authorized, provides monthly parking reports as instructed and other parking lot duties as directed
- Understand and be up to date on all corporate policies that have been established to ensure support and minimize risk of staff, operations and facilities
- Regular updating of Vortex, terminal log, status reports, incident reports.
- Continuously monitoring baggage belt monitor and reporting jams
- Dispatcher of codes, situations, using ,phone, radio, vortex, smart notice

**Qualifications**:

- Able to work well as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and multi task required
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Present a professional image in appearance, words and actions
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- First Aid & CPR is an asset.
- Security and/or customer service experience is an asset

Work Conditions
- Interacts with customers, employees, management and the public at large
- Must be available to work shifts that cover 24 hours per day, 7 days a week -overtime may be required
- Works within an office with limited mobility during a shift - sits at a desk observing cameras and answering phones and responding to visitors to the SOC office
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
