We are currently seeking an energetic, dedicated, and hardworking professional to fill the position of Real Estate Clerk at our Vaughan location. We offer an opportunity to work for an industry-leading company and a very competitive compensation and benefits package.

**Real Estate - Law Clerk**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Commercial and residential purchase, sale and financing transactions, including drafting documentation and corresponding directly with clients and other lawyer’s offices
- Performing sub-searches of title and off-title searches
- Assisting with registration of plans of subdivision and other land development matters
- Assisting with commercial leasing transactions
- Preparing various documents in Teraview including Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, Discharges etc.
- Preparing reporting letters and accounts to clients
- Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
- Opening files in PCLaw
- Drafting and amending all correspondence
- Drafting closing documentation for commercial and residential purchase, sale and financing transactions, including preparing necessary corporate documentation
- Preparing and organizing closing of subdivision lot sales and purchases through Conveyancer
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program or equivalent years of experience
- 3-7 years of experience in a similar position in a Commercial or Residential Real Estate Law practice
- Proficiency with PC Law, Microsoft Office Suite, Teraview and Conveyancer
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently on multiple files
- Ability to complete commercial and residential purchase and sale transactions from start to finish with mínimal supervision
