We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the design process, helping them to envision and create their ideal spaces. Your expertise in design principles, along with strong sales and negotiation skills, will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
*Responsibilities*
- Collaborate with customers in-store and on-site to understand their design needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions that align with their vision.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various design elements.
- Manage client accounts, maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and follow-ups.
- Assist clients in selecting materials, colors, and finishes that enhance their space while adhering to budget constraints.
- Stay informed about market trends and new products to provide clients with the most relevant options.
- Organize project timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion.
*Qualifications*
- Proven experience in retail sales or account management within the design or home improvement industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software is essential for creating design layouts and visualizations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate successful client agreements.
- Knowledge of renovation processes and materials is a plus.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demonstrations that resonate with clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- A keen eye for design trends and market developments that can influence client choices.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
