**Origins Education Inc.** is seeking an **Administrative Assistant** who is highly organized, proactive, and eager to grow with our team. This role is essential to supporting the Principal in managing daily operations, coordinating educational programs, and ensuring smooth communication with students, parents, and teachers.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Communication**
- Provide regular updates to parents and students on learning progress, study goals, and class performance.
- Maintain ongoing communication between the Principal, teachers, parents, and students to ensure a smooth learning experience.
- Answer inquiries about programs, schedules, and school policies in a professional and supportive manner.
- Support the resolution of concerns or direct them to appropriate staff members.
- Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with a welcoming attitude.
**2. Marketing**
- Design posters, flyers, and digital marketing materials using Canva (or similar tools).
- Manage and update social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Assist in planning and promoting school events, workshops, and special activities.
- Contribute creative ideas to strengthen community engagement and program visibility.
**3. Educational Support**
- Organize class schedules, coordinate course materials, and track enrollment.
- Provide occasional classroom assistance (covering lessons, supervising, or supporting teachers as needed).
- Help plan student activities and ensure a positive learning experience.
**4. Coordination Duties**
- Maintain to-do lists and help track project timelines.
- Provide administrative support to the Principal across a variety of tasks.
- Perform occasional driving duties (e.g., errands, school activities across sites).
- Take initiative in identifying ways to improve school operations.
**5. Administrative & Scheduling**
- Manage the Principal’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate courses/events.
- Maintain accurate student and teacher records, attendance, and program schedules.
- Support daily office operations including filing, documentation, and expense tracking.
- Assist with vendor coordination and other operational needs.
**Qualifications**
- College Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in education, teaching, or childcare is a strong asset.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- **Fluency in Mandarin and English is mandatory.**:
- Proficiency in MS Office, Canva (or other design tools), and social media platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally when needed.
